The ZOLL AED Plus is designed with sudden cardiac arrest in mind. When it matters most, its rectilinear biphasic waveform delivers greater current since it is the only waveform that has been clinically demonstrated to be superior for ventricular fibrillation conversion. This increases the likelihood of getting the heart's rhythm back to normal.
