Product Details
BD Vacutainer® Citrate Tubes with 3.2% buffered sodium citrate solution are used for routine coagulation studies.

Outer Tube
  • Consists of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), the virtually unbreakable material used for all BD Plastic Tubes.
  • Retains vacuum, maintaining proper blood to additive ratio.
  • Consistent 13x75mm plastic tube external dimensions.
  • Standard light blue BD Hemogard™ closure.
Inner Tube
  • Consists of Polypropylene, a specialized non-activating surface.
  • Retains liquid additive, keeping citrate concentration and the blood to additive ratio at the optimum levels.
